Collaboration with a Poet 2

"April"
1

P.B.W. comes to me with yet another beautifully-read poem. I hear it several times before I realize that the theme is water, death, survival, life - existence as we ponder it, placing ourselves in an infinite comparison to all that we know.

I remember a video in my collection from the previous year where I am honoring the memory of a lost friend, and I unite the parts. Again, P.B.W. is pleased but once again he asks for music.

I sit down at the keyboard and accompany the image I have in my mind of what’s already been created and happily join it to the project. The result is again a kind of mood of the moment - a painting captured in words, or words as a small tapestry.

See if you feel the same.
