42nd Street in Sight & Melody

A slide show with piano accompaniment
2

Every so often I like to marry the screen image with the recording of sound. I recently worked up a reasonable performance of Warren & Dubin’s song 42nd Street from the 1933 Warner Brothers movie of the same name. It then occurred to me to search out some images I had taken over years of scenes in and around 42nd Street (which runs from river to river in Manhattan). It sets a mood that I hope you will enjoy.
